CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Expanded Perspective

It is our personal interpretation that the orb phenomena, as well as many other phenomena mankind has witnessed over the ages, have been given to us collectively from the unseen reality as pointers. They cast light on an issue, point the way to a solution of a specific problem, encourage, give an “aha” experience. If we are so inclined, we are invited to personalize what we see.

This is not an exact science. Nothing that has to do with consciousness is an exact science. There is no guarantee for reproducibility. What applies to me does not necessarily apply to you, and vice versa.

The world of consciousness, from which the orbs are messengers, is a realm in which other laws apply than those that pertain to the physical reality. The laws are not absolute but relative. The confinement to space and time, as we know it, does not exist. Speeds of processes, even though likely still sequential, can be much, much faster than in the physical realm. But they nevertheless appear to be sequential.

It is our sincere hope that this book has given you, the reader, a new perspective on the world beyond ours.

Klaus was brought up with the notion that what we can see, hear, smell, touch, feel, and yes, calculate and rationalize is all there is. From his early childhood he remembers being taught that there are “real” aspects to life, and then there are fairy-tales; only the “real” experiences in life ultimately matter. He was also told to believe in a life after death. But then, whenever he asked a pointed question about how that life would be, to better understand, he was be repudiated for having the audacity of asking such “inappropriate” questions. He was told, “These are things, spiritual matters you have to believe in, and these things are not to be taken for “real,” because, after all, there are no angels in the real world, and death is the end of all life, and every well-educated person knows that,” he was told.

What were the teachings in your formative years? Did you have an experience seeing a deceased loved one’s spirit appear to you, or did you see a person next to your mother, and did she not see it and told you, “I love you, but there is nobody”? Or did you ever hear a voice your father did not hear, and he labeled you a dreamer? Did the correct answer to a math question in a test just pop into your mind, and the teacher would take you to the principal, because you obviously cheated?

It is important to honor what we were given in our early years, and how we learned about reality. Everyone who grew up with experiences like that, would have quickly learned to stop asking questions about such “strange” things. We all want to be normal, and a normal person does not believe in imaginative things. As we grow older and acquire more education, this differentiation between the “acceptable” view of reality and the “unacceptable” intuitive part of ourselves becomes more and more rigid. The teachings in our basic physics and engineering classes would further fortify this view; there simply is nothing that is beyond the speed of light, nothing that is lighter and faster than a photon, we were told, and our mind is a not yet entirely understood agglomeration of physical matter undergoing physiochemical reactions.

It is our hope that this book entices you to reconsider such conditioning. No longer, so we hope, can one state that there are no angels, merely because we cannot see them. No longer can one deny that life after life exists, merely because we cannot see what we can accept as credible evidence of it. No longer can we say that there is no such thing as a valid “hunch,” because we must, of course, be able to do everything we undertake on calculable rationale.

Though there was nothing to authenticate such things in the past, now the orbs show us something different. Granted, they do not bluntly paint the picture of people with wings; it’s a bit more complicated than that. They do not simply tell us that we will be living another thousand years after we die, and the only difference is that those who are still living in this reality will not be able to see us! And neither do they tell us that we should stop going to school and, from here on, only act upon what we “feel” in the moment. They are inviting us to expand our perception to a larger context.

It continues to be our rationale that the orbs are emanations from Spirit Beings. This means in a nutshell that our reality does not end at the end of our current perception of physics, the speed of light or the most modern particle physics. It extends, instead, far, far beyond that, by many orders of magnitude, into a realm that, just as ours, encompasses sentient beings—probably more intelligent beings than we find in our physical reality.

This reality, we are beginning to find out, is also fundamentally based on “energy,” just as ours is. However, in terms of the quantity and character of the physical energy that we have come to know about in our reality, the energy in the realm beyond ours is “small,” refined, it is “subtle.” For that energy to do something in our physical reality, it would be like you or us trying to force a freight train back into motion by sheer muscle power when it has stopped in its tracks. It’s possible, but highly improbable, unless . . .

So, what is it that we would have to do if we wanted to demonstrate to someone that we can, in fact get that train rolling again? We would have to be smart. For a long time, for almost as long as life on Earth has existed, we would not have been able to do anything like that, because our muscle power would simply not have been sufficient. But then, in the latest speck of time (compared to the 4 billion years that our Earth has existed), we learned to devise machines that generate power. We were smart, and with our smartness we would eventually come up with the means to get the train rolling.

And so it is with the world of spirits when it comes to proving their existence to us. They are smart, probably very smart, but it is still utterly difficult for them to demonstrate to us that they exist, because we have been so locked into the freight train mentality (thinking that our muscles are not sufficient to move it), and we have not looked at other possibilities…yet.

With the discovery of orbs, this has changed. With our invention of digital photography, we ourselves, not the Spirits, have created a simple—or perhaps not really all that simple, but an extremely wide-spread and literally ubiquitously available—method to see something with our bare eyes which was generated at the expense of an extremely tiny quantity of physical energy.

Similarly small amounts of energy are used inside of many electronic devices, but the devices will only work if huge numbers of such minute-energy steps are strung together in the correct sequence.

When it comes to digital photography, this is fundamentally different. Here just a few photons – the smallest of small amounts of physical energy – are required to generate something that you and I can hold in our hand and see, look at for hours, and pass on to others. We can print them as images on paper, or post them on the Internet for thousands to view whenever they want to. We have, finally, invented the locomotive that beings from the reality of Spirit Entities can use to make themselves known.

To generate such minute amounts of energy as are required for recording orb-like features in digital photographs is within their reach. Even then, it appears that they can generate these minute energies not from their own energy reservoir in their own realm, but by simply converting them from physical energy that we nonchalantly offer to them when we take our digital photographs, i.e., from the electronic flash.

This possibility of unequivocally making themselves known to us is just as old (or as young) as digital photography is; perhaps two decades. And, unfortunately, it came along with a requirement, that of an electronic flash that can be demonstrated to also generate “real” physical images of real objects, such as airborne particles that can be explained simply on the basis of reflection of the photons from the flash at them. While this process is very different from that of “producing” genuine orbs, the end product often looks quite similar.

Unfortunately, even though the vast majority of orbs observed by people all over the world is real, this has no bearing on skeptics who continue with their argument—that because one can demonstrate that reflection at airborne particles can produce an image that resembles that of an orb, all such images must therefore be reflections at airborne particulates. It is of little avail to try to convince such critics otherwise, as much so as it was of little avail to convince the clerical echelons in the 16th century that the earth was revolving around the sun.

Nevertheless, one contribution that this book tries to make in the advancement of credibility of orb photography is through the power of statistics, which is a power most critics actually do believe in. We have demonstrated that, in many orb photographs a meaning can be derived from either the positioning of the orbs in the photo or their interior appearance. We have given numerous examples where positioning or interiority of orbs is unique beyond any reasonable measure of statistics. This does imply that, on the basis of statistics, there is more relevance to orb photos than to pictures of reflections at airborne particles, which would, without further argument, follow the laws of random statistical distribution.

We must, in this context, then also understand that, at present, this is all these Spirit Beings can demonstrate to us through orb photos. They can appear visually, but they cannot talk, and they cannot write. They cannot give us any messages in the way we are, by conditioning and convention, used to hearing messages.

It is quite possible that this is, in fact, so by immensely wise divine design. For what real possibility of evolving into a consciousness producing species would humankind have, if it knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what the difference between good and evil is? Of course, in 20-20 hindsight, everybody would then choose the good, and there would then not be a real basis for a choice, and thus no real possibility to advance in consciousness.

For is it not ultimately that by not knowing everything we have the possibility to grow in consciousness? It seems that the most ingenious “invention” ever conceived was that of the free will of the human being, who would, by virtue of having to discern between good and evil, become capable of “producing” consciousness and, thus, ultimately evolve his own creator: Conscious consciousness evolving itself, by design, to higher and higher echalons!

This is then why we must do our part to decipher messages from Spirit Beings through orbs. It is not mechanical. We cannot design computer software and let the computer do the job. It requires of us, first and foremost, opening ourselves to the possibility that our orb photos contain messages. We must then perfect the art of perceiving them. With the examples we have given in this book, we hope you may be able to expand your innate capacity to perceive such messages.

Messengers from the other realm are assisting us on our journey toward wholeness and seem to reach us in ever changing forms. It is easy to conclude that there is a mighty force out there, willing to help us expand our perception, so we become more responsive, loving human beings. Could it be that, as we tune in to the signals they give us, our innate creative potential will unfold and lead us to new discoveries that will benefit us all?
